"TRAGWAG is emotive, clever, and unpretentious, sporting an array of refreshingly unrefined recordings. The songs are perfectly imperfect, like the widest smile from a kid who just lost their first tooth; is it as full as it could be? No, but it’s beautiful all the same."
-Mass Recovery Fest http://massrecovery.blogspot.com/
"TRAGWAG calls forth the sound of their influences through acoustic filters. The 1-2 hardcore bands like Minor Threat and other angst-swelled American punk, and rowdy, catchy lt rock suddenly becomes lo-fi jangle without forgetting its roots."
-UML Connector
"Tyler handles most of the vocals and plays acoustic guitar while Ali plays banjo and sings a few songs on her own. It’s not super cutesy like a lot of the folk punk stuff you hear, so it is more tolerable. The lyrics are filled with a sense of longing and thoughtfulness."

"In addition to being two of the nicest kids ever, they write really catchy and amazing songs. Mainly just guitar and banjo, they manage to pull out the stops with this record and deliver a really great sound to back up some wonderful lyrics."

TRAGWAG is a folk/punk duo made up of two kids from Connecticut (Tyler), and Massachusetts (Ali). They both go to school at Umass Lowell, and are both music majors. They aspire to bring their music to as many people as possible in whatever way they can, playing shows all over the country in community centers, punk-houses, basements, and the radio. Though they mostly frequent New England, they hardly limit themselves to the area.
They released a full-length in 2009 and will release splits with Low and Away and the Gnarly Whales this upcoming spring.
On March 11th, they will embark on an east-coast tour. For more details visit www.myspace.com/tylerbisson -
